Article 29 — General principles of the CE marking

What this article does

Article 29 does not restate the CE marking principles itself: it subjects the marking to the general principles set out in Article 30 of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008. Read it alongside Article 28(4): by drawing up the EU declaration of conformity, the manufacturer assumes responsibility for the product's compliance.
