Article 69 is the bridge: products placed on the market before 11 December 2027 are subject to the Regulation only if substantially modified after that date F-004. Two qualifications keep this from being a free pass. The reporting duty applies from 11 September 2026 F-002 without that grandfathering F-004. And customers ask about conformity posture regardless of the legal minimum, so already-on-market status is a scheduling fact, not a strategy F-105.
